We are licensed by the State of Iowa to practice public accounting. Such licensing ensures a high standard of professional service to the general public.  Only individuals who have passed a rigorous examination covering accounting, tax law and related business knowledge, have completed other education and experience requirements, receive a license designating them as a certified public accountant.

This license allows us to express our independent opinion on the validity of financial statements.  The highest level of assurance provided by us is an audit opinion.  Additionally, we may extend a lesser level of assurance, referred to as a 'review of financial statements.'  Finally, we may provide compiled financial statements with no statement of assurance.

Shareholders or the board of directors may engage us to perform these professional services.  Often the determination of the level of service to be provided by us is a result of a third party request from a lender, bond/insurance company, or regulatory body.
