Arthur Van Bruggen,

Our firm's founder and senior partner,
Art focuses most of his attention on agricultural, manufacturing,
and individual tax clients in the Boyden and George offices.
He received his bachelor's degree from Lawrence Technological
University in 1975. His professional experience began in the
Detroit, Michigan area where he gained experience in real estate,
manufacturing and taxation.
Art spends most of his time at the
Boyden office.
During tax season, he can be found at the
George office a few
days a week. |

Myron
Bechler -

Myron is our most senior professional,
having started with Art in 1982 after graduation from Nettleton
Business College. He serves many of our clients with
accounting, bookkeeping, tax, and computer services. Myron
assists with the Management Information Systems functions for the
firm.
Most of the year, Myron works from the
Boyden office.
During tax season, he can be found working from the
George
office a few days a week. |

Amanda
Nordgaard, LPA -

Amanda earned her associate of applied
science degree followed by an associate of arts degree from
Northwest Iowa Community College in 1998. Amanda has been serving
our clients since her graduation, is a member of the QuickBooks
ProAdvisor®
program, and has attained her professional
designation as a Licensed Public Accountant. |

Craig is a 2005 graduate of the University of Sioux Falls with majors in Public Accounting and Business Administration. While attending college, he supplemented his coursework with hands-on internships, where he acquired accounting and tax preparation skills. Craig is currently working toward his CPA certification.

Krista graduated from Northwestern
College in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in accounting/business
administration and joined our firm shortly thereafter. She
obtained her CPA license in 2003. Krista has a very broad
range of experience and our clients find her assistance invaluable
in many different areas. Currently, her focus is corporate and
individual tax preparation. |

Axel Vandewalle -

Axel joined
our practice in the Fall of 2006. He is originally from Belgium,
where he worked for 20 years in bookkeeping, accounting, and as an
account manager for a car business before coming to the United
States. Most recently, he has been an accountant for a motorcycle
dealership. Axel will assist clients with in the financial and tax
areas. |

Jesse is a northwest Iowa native who graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance. After graduation, he worked in the International Tax department of a private engineering firm in Kansas City. In 2007, Jesse returned to the local area and joined our firm, where he works in the Boyden and Orange City offices. |

Becky attended Northwest Iowa Community College, graduating in May 2007 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting and passing the ACAT
exam in June 2007. Becky is a northwest Iowa native who worked at a
local business for several years before returning to school; she
joined our firm in the Fall of 2007.
Becky assists
clients with payroll, bookkeeping, and data entry, in addition to
front counter and telephone assistance, billing, and tax return
assembly. |

Dawn Driesen

Dawn
joined the firm early in 2004, bringing with her ten years of
bookkeeping and QuickBooks experience. She assists clients with
their payroll, bookkeeping, data entry, and invoicing needs. Dawn
also prepares personal and entity tax returns. |

Linda Rook

Linda
joined our ranks as receptionist in the Fall of 2008. She has
extensive business experience in bookkeeping, QuickBooks, customer
service, and human resources; she is also a notary public. Linda is
very involved in her community, serving in key roles for a number of
area organizations. She is well equipped and eager to assist
clients at the front desk, answer phones, schedule appointments, and
perform general office and clerical duties. |

Gary Vande Vegte,

Gary is our firm’s managing partner. He
holds dual professional certifications, having earned his CPA and
CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designations in 1993 and 1994,
respectively. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business
administration and accounting from Augustana College. His practice
began in 1993 with a local regional CPA firm. Over the years, his
professional focus has been to provide a wide range of accounting
and tax services for individuals, agricultural entities, non-profit
organizations, and small businesses. Most recently, Gary has been
working with large owner-operated dairy farms, offering consulting
and tax services, as well as financial statement preparation. He
works closely with Genske, Mulder & Company (www.genskemulder.com),
a California firm with formidable expertise in the dairy industry,
on many dairy projects. |

Barb De
Boer, CPA

Barb received her bachelor's degree from Dordt College in
1984 and then passed the CPA exam the following year. Her
professional experience began with a large, local CPA firm. Prior
to joining the firm, she was the Comptroller for Northwestern
College and a missionary in Uganda, Africa. Barb devotes a large
portion of her time to accounting and assurance services, as well as
tax services. |

Brian Moeller -

Brian joined the
firm in June of 2004. Previously, Brian was the sole
proprietor of an accounting and tax business. He brings with
him 24 years of experience in the accounting and tax preparation
field, and extensive experience in Quicken, QuickBooks, and other
accounting and tax applications Brian is a member of the
QuickBooks ProAdvisor®
program and enjoys training people to use technology; you will find
him to be a very knowledgeable and patient teacher. He also serves
as the Management Information Systems manager for the firm. |

Judi is the administrative and audit/accounting partner for the firm. She graduated from Dordt College in 1987 with majors in Accounting and Business Administration. Later, she earned a Masters in Professional Accountancy from the University of South Dakota. Judi began her career with a local regional CPA firm and has also spent several years in the private sector, gaining valuable experience with nonprofit, governmental, and educational organizations. She brings with her expertise in these areas, as well as individual and small business taxation.
Judi works in the Orange City and Rock Valley offices. |

Mike is a 1985 graduate of Dordt
College, earning his CPA certificate in 1986. His career began with
a local regional CPA firm, after which he earned his MBA from the
University of South Dakota in 1992, and went on to receive his
Certified Financial Planner™ credential. Mike has served as
controller or CFO for three area businesses since 1991 and is
currently the comptroller at Dordt College. He has continued to
practice public accounting on a part-time basis, and is involved in
individual and small business taxes, accounting, and consulting as
well as non-profit tax and accounting services. |

Sandie holds associate degrees in accounting and justice
administration, as well as bookkeeping and paralegal career
diplomas. During tax season, Sandie stays busy with scheduling,
front counter and telephone assistance, billing, and tax return
assembly. In addition, she serves as the office notary public and
assists clients with payroll, bookkeeping, and data entry.
Sandie began her career with the firm late in 2004 and brings with
her over 25 years of experience in finance & accounting, customer
service, sales & marketing, billing, accounts receivable, credit and
collections, office management and bookkeeping. |

Kristin joined the firm as an intern in May 2005 after having interned with the financial services division of a regional company. Kristin graduated from Northwestern College with majors in Accounting and Business Administration and has obtained her CPA license. |

Amy graduated from Northwestern College in 1999 as a two sport NAIA Academic All-American with a bachelor's degree in accounting and business administration. She joined KPMG in Omaha for a number of years before entering the private sector. In 2002, Amy obtained her CPA certificate; in 2005, she returned to the local area and joined our firm.
Amy serves as Audit and Accounting Director and Peer Review
Coordinator for the firm. |

Matt graduated from Dordt College in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Information Systems. He passed the CPA exam in 2001 and received his licensure in 2004 after meeting other licensing requirements. Matt began his career at a large regional CPA firm in Minneapolis. He was a part of the Van Bruggen & Vande Vegte team from 2002 to 2005 and rejoined the firm in the fall of 2007 after working for two years for a Sioux Falls CPA firm. Matt’s expertise is in the area of tax and accounting services for individuals and a wide array of small businesses.
Matt works in the Orange City and Rock Valley offices.

joined our firm late in the fall of 2008. Ray is a full-time
accounting professor at Northwestern College in Orange City; he has
several years of experience with public accounting firms and a
property management company in the Pacific Northwest. He also taught
at a post-secondary Bible school and worked in accounting and
administration for a nonprofit organization in Mexico. Ray earned
his bachelor’s degree in accounting at Northwest Nazarene College
and his master’s degree in accounting from Washington State
University. |

Jeff Nibbelink,

Jeff is the firm’s
partner in charge of audit and accounting. He received his
bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from
Dordt College, and then pursued a Masters in Business Administration
from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA, graduating in
1982. Jeff earned his CPA certification in 1985 and has been
practicing in Rock Valley since that time, where he has managed
numerous accounting and auditing engagements with manufacturing,
nonprofit, and governmental clients. He is also very involved in
tax services for individuals, agricultural and small business
clients. |

Tina graduated with
a clerical accounting degree from Northwest Iowa Community College
in 1996. She spent four years in private accounting, where she
acquired valuable skills in office management and record-keeping.
Tina began working in public accounting in 2002, where she enjoys a
variety of tasks, including front counter assistance, notary public
services, and payroll tax preparation. She is working on her
professional designation as a Licensed Public Accountant. |

Vince is a northwest Iowa (Lyon County) native who graduated from Plymouth State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He previously worked at a leading national CPA firm in Minneapolis, where his practice focused on accounting and audit services, specifically in the manufacturing, real estate, non-profit, and construction industries. Vince will also be involved with business and individual income tax services. He joined our firm in July 2009 as a senior accountant, and obtained his CPA licensure in the same year. |
